Like the simplicity of this app. Set it and forget it, (for 3 minutes). Would love to see RAW or ProRaw for this, that would make it 5 stars. Would be willing to pay to have this, lens selection, and the watermark removed. I’ll be watching. Good work team!
The title says it all...3 minutes of capture time. Can be handheld, i wish it had more options and raw format support but the current output is still nothing more than amazing, beyond any other astro photo app for the apple products.
I downloaded it to iPhone 13 Pro max, worked for one picture. Then the picture would not leave the screen. Deleted the app reinstalled. Took one picture then the app would not work again it stated on the screen it was calculating time never went into photo mode deleted again.
Love it. I live in the outskirts of a large city (Bortle 6) and have been able to capture some beautiful night sky images. A few things I wish the app had: remote capture or delayed start capture so you don’t shake camera with the initial press; zoom feature; a little quicker capture with the same results- 3 minutes is just long enough that brighter stars and planets are blurry due to their movement across the sky
I was told about this app from a friend that worked on the beta. After downloading the first I took a few photos of Orion and was Impressed and I only have an iPhone SE 1sts Gen. I since was able to get someone to put it on the iPhone 13 Pro and now I need to upgrade my iPhone. This app is awesome!
While I am really intrigued with the overlay features, the overall results simply cannot compare with the native iPhone 12 or 13 photos taken in Night mode. In this mode, a 30 second exposure produces greater star and Milky Way definition and brightness. I wish there was a way to use the overlays with the images captured with the native iPhone Night mode.
Just shot a number of shots in fairly dark sky’s of New Mexico.Several shots were very good, but many were poor to mediocre. The shots aimed towards some distant city lights faired better than those aimed at darker (higher) sky. iPhone 13pro was used. Milky Way shots were not good, unless the city pollution was visible at the edge of the frame. Very odd. Any suggestions?Note, I would gladly pay for this product if it was consistent.
The app takes amazing photos. Nothing better for iPhone astrophotography. I understand that the app requires an internet connection. Many places with dark skies do not have connectivity. Will the app work? Will the overlays work? Thanks for your clarification
Dear developer I know that update the app and fix bugs cost a lot but please keep the app free without any internal purchases! To professional mobile photographers like me that work with the phone all the time, not only to take photos of the sky, it’s a really bad thing try to recommend apps to the other people that are beginning in this thing have to deal with purchasing things on apps like the app Halide Mark II, was a amazing app but they ambitious for put a subscription made almost all the users stop using, It’s sad see beginners they have to expend money to have good results so that’s a way to ask this thing for you don’t mess with the app, I would ask you if you can add the option to activate or turn off the watermark❤️, Anyway your app is insanely great keep doing this amazing job! Thank you for this incentive to mobile photographers of the night sky ❤️❤️
This app is incredible in terms of getting beautiful pictures that one would never expect to be able to get from a phone camera. Unfortunately, I’m unable to use the app myself due to having an old phone (iphone 8s). Whenever I get down to 30 seconds on the configuration, the app crashes, and in general the app is a massive drain on my phone’s battery. I’m really sad I can’t use it myself but this is a great app.
