Purchased this app, and thought - "just maybe, I can give those assisting me a copy of this setup diagram, arrive to a shoot and EVERY DETAIL is taken care of"! I emailed each person assisting me a diagram, and voila they got it, and everything was exactly as I wanted it. Nervanna! This app is easy to use and if there was one thing I would change, it would be to force every camera manufacturer to include this app in their proprietary software bundle!
Crashes as soon as I drag any items onto it
I used this app for maybe 4 or 5 years but now whenever I go to save a setup or open a previously saved one it just crashes and nothing can be accessed from the past or saved. Major bummer.
This app is great, but there’re a few things I’d like included...• Show the color of gels on the setup, vs just saying the color• Have speedlight as a light source vs as a modifier so modifiers can be added• More modifiers• More subjects• More backgrounds
Just started using and it's pretty nifty! Glad I downloaded it! Just wish there were a few more option in the grip section but it's great!
I downloaded this app to my iPad 2 last night. I played around with it for about 15 minutes and could do a simple layout. This morning I looked at it again and realized how completely intuitive this app is. I was making it harder than it needed to be.I am in the process of transfering all my lighting setups to the app and haven't run into any bugs. I messaged Alex with a question and heard back from him in just a few hours so Kudos for the customer service as well.Keith
How do I share setups across iPhones, iPads using the same iCloud account? How do I include my detail notes (additional information) from each light and reflector in the setup? How do you get landscape mode to work? Love the app and it can be useful to me. But i can’t use it without the above questions answered. Thanks.
I attend a photography school and this app has helped a lot. It's very easy to use and being able to save a set up for later is very useful for class. The save to photo library makes it simple to share with others and for school assignments. The best feature for work and school is the ability to attach a reference photo. You can use it show what lighting setup was used for a specific photo. The only thing it needs is more options for lighting and modifiers. Booms, flags, and things like that. It would also be useful to have an tilted up option to go with the tilted down option.
Great app for photographers who want to document their lighting.
I was thinking of a way that I can store my lighting setups and also use them in the planning phase so I went to the App Store and found this gem! Works well I just wish it had more equipment options and more detailed specs but other than that it functions just how I wanted it. This needs to be advertised!
